Delete Your Data

1. Delete Your Account In-App

Deleting your account is self-service — no email or form required:

• Open the yayhop app and go to Settings
• Tap Delete Account
• Verify it's you with the one-time code (OTP) we send to your email (or phone)
• Confirm — your account is deleted right away

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

2. Before You Can Delete

To protect you and the people you've transacted with, you must first resolve any of these:

• Active or pending trips
• Active or pending bookings and orders
• Held or unsettled wallet funds

Once these are cleared, deletion proceeds immediately.

3. What Is Deleted

• Your profile and personal information
• Your @username (it becomes available to others 14 days after deletion)
• Your catalog items and photos
• Your drafts and trips no one interacted with, including their photos
• Your notifications and subscriptions

4. What Is Kept (Anonymized)

For legal, financial-audit, and other users' records, the following are kept but de-identified — your name and profile are replaced with a "Deleted User" placeholder:

• Past trips, bookings and orders others took part in
• Messages and call history
• Reviews you wrote and received
• Wallet and transaction history (required for financial audit)
